Rev. Alex Shea Will is a pastor, teacher, and ministry entrepreneur. Through his ministry, Alex attempts to bring the hopeful message of the Gospel to not only those who have a faith background, but also those who wonder if the Church has anything left to offer.

Having discerned a call to ordained ministry by way of a Roman Catholic upbringing, a PCUSA summer camp, Evangelical young adult ministry, a traveling Gospel choir, and UCC campus ministry, Alex is adept at crafting diverse worship experiences for congregations of all sizes.

Alex currently serves as Area Conference Minister for the Northeast Region of the Southern New England Conference. In this role he seeks to inspire and provoke local churches and associations to discover how God is calling them to be the Church in a new era, in addition to providing support and guidance during times of transition.

Previously, Alex served for six years as Associate Pastor at South Church in Andover, Massachusetts. Alex's technology driven approach to ministry provided a seamless transition to online worship during the COVID-19 crisis, creatively overseeing its development, weekly production, and longterm strategy. He has already had the chance to share what he's learned through a variety of online panels, and as the creator of the Digital Content Workshop - a space for digital content creators in the progressive church to share and collaborate.

Alex is also a founder of PATH - a pastoral formation collaborative comprised of clergy, churches, and seminaries, working together to form transformational leaders for the 21st century. Under his teaching responsibilities, the most recent courses he designed were "Entrepreneurship and Leadership in the Local Church," and "Church and Pastoral Administration."

As a pastor and musician, Alex leads worship throughout New England and serves as a worship consultant for both congregations and event planning teams.

Alex was raised in Pembroke, Massachusetts. He received a Master of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Catawba College, a UCC affiliated school. His is currently pursuing a pre-MBA certificate in business foundations at the University of Massachusetts: Lowell.  In his free time you'll likely find him coaching high school rugby, or watching soccer and basketball.

If you'd like to reach out to Alex, he'd love to hear from you. You can email him here.
